In Brief
After running the day-to-day operations of this family-built business for over a decade, Andre took over full-time operations and has continued to nurture Highland Kennel into the pet-loving, clean, caring, much-loved facility it is today. Prior to taking over full-time management of Highland Kennel, Andre spent 18 years in a wide-ranging career in technology, including Planning Research Corporation, BDM International and Micro Warehouse Inc. This experience helps him look after and make smart decisions for the business side of this friendly establishment. Over the last 8 years, Andre has spearheaded the facelift of Highland Kennel, updating lighting, flooring, landscaping and, of course, creation and evolution of this website (many thanks and kudos to Katie @ embodyart).

Red Cross Certified in Canine CPR Splash Certified in Grooming Safety Amanda is a born animal lover. She cut her teeth in the kennel business as an Onsite Kennel Technician at an indoor / outdoor facility in Virginia from 2003–2006. In 2006, she joined a national chain as a groomer's assistant and moved to New Jersey. She has been with the Highland Kennels family since February 2007.

Highland Kennel has been rated Best of Howell for Boarding two years in a row, demonstrating the level of commitment of our staff.
